It can regulate a wide range of voltages: Inputs:
10 - 18 V, Output: 12 V with 10 A maximum current output.

Secondary 12 V battery input. This allows a secondary 12 V battery to be connected in order to supply power to the load in the event that the main supply voltage gets below 12 V or it is no longer available. Great for car, boats, truck, buses, etc. It allows for the 12 V to continue operation in the event of a momentary decrease below 12 V when a vehicle is starting up. It allows for the secondary battery to be trickle charged if its voltage falls below 12 V.
